"The virtue of a camera is not the power it has to transform the photographer into an artist, but the impulse it gives him to keep on looking."

Fix it Friday

Yet another lovely image for the Fix it Friday weekly challenge at I Heart Faces! This is from the 15th, so I'm a little behind.... it was a fun one, though! The original image is straight out of the camera and was taken by Amy Locurto.

Fix It Friday

Yet again, another fun image from the I Heart Faces weekly feature! The original image is from Angie Arthur Photography, and my edits are on the other three images. It was a lovely shot just straight out of the camera!

Fix It Friday

It's Friday! I've been looking forward to this week's image since about Tuesday :-) The original image is straight out of the camera from Michelle Johnson. I had to play around with it for awhile before I got something I liked, so I saved that as my first edit once I got it, and then added a scratchy texture in the second image. This is such a fun weekly project, I've learned so much already!

Fix It Friday

Another Friday means another Fit It project! I started mine on Thursday evening when the original image was posted and I did my two color edits, then this morning I did my black and white-ish edit. I haven't looked at any of the other participant or guest blogger edits yet, can't wait! I'm really enjoying I Heart Faces!

Here's my edits for this week, with the original image from Dana Suggs:

Fix it Friday

I found a photography blog recently that I just love, it's called I Heart Faces. She has tons of tutorials and fun ideas to try, but my favorite feature is Fix It Friday. The photographer, Angie Arthur, posts a straight out of camera shot and calls for blog readers to do their own thing with it and then share it. So, in this collage, the top image is her straight out of camera shot, and the next two images are my edits to her photo. This is so fun, I think I'm going to start doing it every week!
