"The virtue of a camera is not the power it has to transform the photographer into an artist, but the impulse it gives him to keep on looking."

Wedding Sneak Peek

Laura and Ryan asked me a long while ago if I would be willing to do their engagement and wedding photos. At the time, it seemed like their wedding was so far off, but the big day was here before I knew it! I was so nervous about the weather, since the forecast had been saying rain, rain, rain, but we were blessed with a great day! It was a bit windy, but we made it work out! The wedding was in a local Catholic church, complete with ornate woodwork and statuary, which is typical of most of the churches in Clinton County. Before we got to the reception, we made a stop in the historic downtown area of Lebanon, Illinois, and got some fun images there. We had some good laughs about seeing Santa while we were in Lebanon, and sharing our differing perceptions of a close call with the party bus and a semi truck on the highway, and it was all in all a lovely Saturday! Congratulations, Laura and Ryan! Thank you for asking me to capture memories of your special day!
